controller.   Fwuuuuuuup.... Fwuuuuuuuup... long pause... fweeeeeeeep...
And so on, for hours. Damn, those things were slow.

I got lucky that my employer rapidly went from DDS to DDS-2, then DDS-2
to DDS-3, and I got the previous generation, along with a SCSI card.
