Same boat here
Multiple noisy racks - new property has two dwellings, so I claimed the
second one as my office, tech / server room, and the workshop will be the
other end (once I get it emptied from the piles of boxes and stuff still
packed)...

Wife does have a desk in the office - which is great! But until I sort out
the noisy rack (closing up the wall, adding doors, sound reduction, and
additional AC), she doesn't use the space that much.

Many renovations to happen - many dollars and hours required... Just working
though some debt reduction at the moment before I start spending $$$...
