i remember he got really upset when i told him you don't just "learn assembly language" on a whim to maintain an OS/2 device driver and sockets program (SIO/VModem) and suggested the code would be better suited for the guys at Arca Noae. it was like he wanted glory for holding onto the code rather than
to ensure it's longevity.

i also remember a post last year i think. "i'm shutting down the bbs forever. it's been a good run" or something. theatric and manipulative behavior, and hatred for criticism.

i've known the guy for ~25 years .. it used to be a lot of fun hanging out on IRC with him and the others on SysopNet. now from the sound of it, it seems like he doesn't let anyone in he can't control. what fun is a message net where every message you don't like is an excuse to ban someone from the network? and when the "offender" is removed from the network, do the rest of the nodes have a nice wank together? lol
