He isn't US born.  Because he is not an elected official, I know of no
requirements that he be US born to be a cabinet member.

Presidents and, IIRC, Senators have to be US born.  Representatives
apparently do not.

Not defending Musk.  He runs some successful businesses but seems to lack
people skills, quite possibly even basic ones. I do not feel he really
has any business being involved in government, no matter who the President
is.
