Yesterday, I took a post-holiday drive to get out of the house and
think, and it was the most cold, gray, and foggy day we've had in a long
time. So gloomy it was almost pretty. Must be nice to have a temperate
holiday season! At least we don't get snow here.

There's a commercial for Corona beer in the states with a long photo of
an island with a hut and a palm tree. As a person whistles "O, Christmas
Tree" the palm tree lights up with christmas lights.
