Most people did.  But the high walls meant that management had to walk by each
cube to see if people were working.  But that's the REAL reason for the low
walls and no working from home: Management was completely incompetent and
couldn't tell from your results if you were actually working or just goofing
off for a day and doing everything in an hour.

Now, I get almost no (non-work) distractions as a toil from home in the Man
Cave.

I wish I could have done that.  But I hate celery and carrots are only edible
