I got one of those so I'm sure what I can do the the house will also be very limited.  Might be putting them on the garage

Sorry to hear about that.  I would have kept it and searched for a replacement board I bet you could get one on fleebay easily

Well I can understand that.  If its not worth the hassle the it's as easy as that.  Thanks for checking in. 

Right now all I have is the Baofeng BF-F8HP.  I have a better antenna coming. The elmer across the street helped me make one for the car.  The car antenna really helped a ton.  I got in to a station about 20 miles from my location with it.  That really surprised me.  There is a nice guy that said he had an extra Yeasu 2M hes sending so and didn't even ask for shipping.  I'm excited to have a little more power behind the antenna.  Well 73
