That's cool.  :)  The UK is pretty interesting.  I visited the UK and Ireland in 2013 on one of those guided bus tour vacation packages.  Visited multiple cities, in England, Scotland (Edinburgh), Northern Ireland, Ireland, and Wales (Cardiff).  I thought London was cool, but definitely has that busy big city vibe.  And I thought Edinburgh was especially cool, and I had a thought that living in Scotland could be pretty awesome.

That's cool, to be able to find something that would be affordable.
