Saw Mamma Mia on the west PF> end, amazing show. Took a train to Bath, walked around the Roman baths, PF> then explored some small villages looking for inspirations for retirement PF> locations. PF> Then, went to Portsmouth and caught up with in-laws I haven't seen in 10 PF> years. That's cool. :) The UK is pretty interesting. I visited the UK and Ireland in 2013 on one of those guided bus tour vacation packages. Visited multiple cities, in England, Scotland (Edinburgh), Northern Ireland, Ireland, and Wales (Cardiff). I thought London was cool, but definitely has that busy big city vibe. And I thought Edinburgh was especially cool, and I had a thought that living in Scotland could be pretty awesome. PF> My favorite town was Tisbury, in Wiltshire. We found a 2 bedroom, 2 bath PF> flat with a garden, 2 car garage and a commercial space on the high street PF> for around a third of what our current house in California is worth. Train PF> and bussable to Salisbury, the next big town, lots of activity, 2 old PF> churches and friendly people. That's cool, to be able to find something that would be affordable.
