I looked into running my own services recently. I ran my own services from 
1999 through 2006 or so, then went to a webhost/email combination. Been 
thinking about moving it in-house for a couple of reasons.

If only a VPS had an option to encrypt the filesystem of a remote system, 
that would rock.
