Very much the same here.  I deal with tedious and fiddly all day long, for
money.  I don't want to do it in my spare time.  I want things that just
magically work.  I'm willing to put up with a certain amount of
head-scratching to set it up the first time, though.  (Or I wouldn't be here
typing this.)  :)
