You have a very different definition of informative than I do.

There was NO real information in the message.

As I see it there are 3 possibilitites:

1) real interesting information
2) first program without any clue what they are doing (maybe not with bad
intent)
3) actual SCAM to get money

1) is ruled completely out by the incredible incompetence.
No naming of the company or the people.
No naming of the actual algorithm, and no description except buzzwords.

What I would hav expected is something like this:
"Me Mr John Doe and Mrs. jane Smith just opened a new startup company called
"company". (The two of us have over 50 years of applied cryptology experience).
Our first product is XXXX. It is a new crypto algorithm with these Unique
Selling Points YYYY.
It has been heavily peer reviewed and no issues were found.

and 7 independantly conducted cryptoanalysises of xxx. There is also a link to

So 1) is clearly not applicable, so either 2) or 3).
If in doubt assume the positive case, so 2).

They do not even say what problem the agorithm is based upon (ECC, prime
factorization, ...)
It does not even state if it is a symmetric or asymmetric cipher.
