   Rain and wind north and west, drier in the east

   Tuesday
   Strong wind in Portugal and northwest Spain with heavy rain spreading
   from north to south as the day goes. East Spain fair with sunny spells.
   Eastward across the Mediterranean, Italy, the Balkan States, and Greece
   will all have a fair day with sunshine. Breezy in the south Aegean,
   heavy bursts of rain along the south Türkiye coast.
   Mild again in western Europe. Windy in France and the Low Countries,
   some rain in northwest France but elsewhere mostly sunny. Some rain and
   windy too in northern Germany. Southern Germany, the alpine countries,
   and eastward into Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria will be fine and
   mostly sunny. Often raining in Poland and western Ukraine.
   Wind with afternoon rain into Denmark, this rain spreading into south
   Sweden and Norway later, falling as snow in Norway. Showery rain in
   south Finland and the Baltic States, local patchy snow in northern
   Scandinavia, often dry but cloudy in central areas.

   Wednesday
   Heavy showers through Spain today, merging to more persistent rain at
   times. Brighter in Portugal and in the east of Spain. Fair for the rest
   of the Mediterranean with sunny spells and dry conditions Greece will
   have sunshine and should be dry. Showers in northern Turkey and heavy
   showers across Cyprus.
   Some cloud and outbreaks of rain in central France. Northern and
   southern areas of France should be dry with sunny spells. The Low
   Countries and Germany as well as Poland will be mostly dry although
   some drizzle for central Germany and northern Poland. Hungary and
   Austria as well as Switzerland will be bright and dry with sunny
   spells.
   Wind and broken cloud for Denmark. Cloud and some patchy rain in the
   Baltic States. The rain more persistent for Finland where it will be
   windy too. Dry in central and southern Sweden although cloudy. Mild and
   wet as well as windy in southern Norway, cld and snowy to the north.

Still a chance of some rain on Wednesday. Most dry on Thursday and Friday and then again
slightly variable. Furthermore, quite a lot of wind, occasionally sun and persistently mild.
