Unsettled to the north and southeast with wind and rain/snow. Wednesday Fine in Iberia with only scattered showers in northern Spain. Strong winds over the central Mediterranean islands with showers; a risk of gales in the east Balearics. Often raining in Italy, though drier and sunnier in the north. Showers along the Balkan coast with persistent, heavy rain into western Greece. Patchy rain and sunshine over the Aegean Sea and into west Türkiye. Most of France will be dry but cloudy, some patchy snow in the mountainous southeast. This snow extends across Switzerland and Austria though tending to ease through the day. Substantially dry in the Low Countries and Germany with some sunny spells north. Cold in Czechia and Slovakia with heavy snow, this band of snow extending into much of Poland. Some showery rain in Hungary and Romania but many will be dry. Rain in west Bulgaria, drier east. Dry with sunny spells for much of southern Scandinavia. Sweden and Finland likely dry all day with sunny spells though quite breezy in the north. Spells of rain and snow will affect west Norway but southern inland areas will be mostly dry. Colder in the Baltic States with snow spreading from the east in Lithuania. Generally drier Latvia and Estonia until later when snow reaches east Latvia. Thursday Staying fine and sunny in Iberia. Morning showers and wind in the central Mediterranean, though easing over the Balearics. Unsettled in central and south Italy with frequent showers, these merging into broader areas of rain across most of mainland Greece. Some showers too on the Balkan coast with snow in the mountains. Only scattered showers with bright spells in the Aegean and coastal Türkiye.
