Wednesday Wet in Portugal, rain increasingly heavy/thundery and these extending to northwest Spain too; strong southerly winds here. For the rest of Spain it will be dry and fair. A fine, warm day for the central Mediterranean, extending into Italy and the Balkan States. Greece dry with sun as well though some light rain and cloud in southern areas. Some showers in coastal parts of Türkiye but plenty of sun away from here. Cloud and patchy drizzle in western France but mostly dry, breezy and warm. Dry and mild but cloudy for the Low Countries, Germany, and Switzerland. Dry too for Poland with cloud more broken, particularly south and east. Czechia east to the Black Sea largely dry and sunny, just some patchy light rain in Ukraine. Strong winds across southern Scandinavia with a risk of gales. Wet and cloud in Denmark. Mixed cloud and sun in the Baltic States, windy here too. Gales likely in Sweden and Finland with heavy periods of rain. Windy and unsettled with snow showers in Norway, areas of snow more broadly in the Scandinavian north. Thursday Gales onto Portugal's west coast with strong winds well inland as well. Near constant heavy rain in Portugal and west Spain, drier east by cloudy. Remaining fine in the central Mediterranean though more cloud around the islands and northern Italy. Sunny in southern Italy eastward into the Balkans and Greece. Sunny in west Türkiye, showers further east. Another warm day in France with mild temperatures extending across the countries north of the Alps into west Poland, mostly cloudy here.
