   Thundery showers south
   Fine central-north Europe

   Cool and showery Scandinavia

   Monday
   A mix of sun and high cloud for Iberia and the Balearics with patchy
   rain in northern Spain, some showery outbreaks in the east by
   afternoon. Further showers for the central Mediterranean, showers more
   frequent and heavy in central and southern Italy by afternoon. The
   northern Balkan States largely fine; wet with thundery downpours moving
   south into Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria and neighboring countries. Some
   thundery showers inland Greece as well later. Only scattered light
   showers in Türkiye with plentiful sunshine.
   Cloud tending to build from the west into France, a little rain, local
   showers northwest. High pressure brings fine conditions in north France
   through the Low Countries, Germany, Poland and Czechia. Isolated
   showers forming over the Alps, mainly toward the southwest for
   Switzerland and northwest Italy.
   Sunshine for Denmark, southern Sweden and Norway. Some light morning
   rain in the Baltic States tending to give way to sun. Strong westerlies
   into northwest Norway with persistent rain onto the coast, drifting
   inland to northern Sweden and Finland. Southern Finland dry with sunny
   spells.

   Tuesday
   Central-southern Spain and all of Portugal stay dry, sunny and very
   warm. Showery rain for northern Spain, local heavy bursts around the
   Pyrenees. Some thundery outbreaks forming into southern France too.
   Local showery rain in central-northern Italy. Much of the western
   Mediterranean dry, but isolated showers may form. The Balkan states
   fine, whilst thundery rain moves east over Romania and Bulgaria. Local
   showers for Greece, but the Greek islands and Türkiye stay dry.
   Some rain for central-northwest France, but fine, settled conditions
   prevail through central-northern Europe from the Low Countries to
   Germany and Poland, warm summer sunshine. Dry too through Czechia,
   Austria and Hungary.
   Cool conditions extend across much of Scandinavia on northerly winds,
   with showery rain for northern areas. A cold front brings patchy rain
   to the Baltic and southern Sweden. Denmark stays largely fine.
