Then create a new one. This is not facebook / whatsapp / twitter. If a hub goes down, the nodes can create new distribution paths. Of course if everyone is to lazy to do something about it, the network is dead. But it's caused by the combined neglect of all members of the network. If it's not important enough to take action, that's fine. But don't complain about something that was part of the deal from the beginning.
