MRC is mostly in python which will run on most systems. So an independent
version should be possible without much change. There are already multiple
versions for different OS under Mystic, just need to adapt to other 
platforms. Seems like the CRT library for display could take over for the 
display hooks for Mystic currently being used. I think that's all that
needs changing. Are there python doors out there? In truth it doesn't need
to be tied to BBS in anyway - it can be an independent program like any
chat client.
