Subj : MysticBB error (invalid file mode)

Has anyone installed MysticBB in a Windows machine? Another Sysop install it in Windows 10 and he is getting a weird error at line 963, user_saverec function, error: "Invalid mode".

The thing is that the same code, works just fine under linux and raspberry pi, so i guess it has something to do, with Windows... but i don't have a windows machine to debug it.

Any feedback is appreciated. :)
