Yes, there are lots of different ways.  I'd suggest only releasing the 
source code and let people build it themselves.

Okay, thanks for the clarification.  All of that seems a little.... 
intrusive... and most people are not going to jump through those hoops, 
in my opinion.  Maybe I'll give it another look sometime.
