I think what you are suggesting might be possible, but I do think it would require you to run two instances of binkd, each with its own config file with each answering on a different port and (probably) using a different in/outbound directory structure (i.e. one moving mail to/from fastecho, and one moving mail to/from gecho). I have two binkd instances running on the same machine doing something similar to this. In my case, it is because one is handling the mail for my synchronet board, while the other is handling the mail for my dos bbs.
