Same for fibre for me, but getting a partner discount on my internet connection
so its 2.5 gb fibre but don't really need a static IP.  I used cable when I
first moved into this building because it was the only thing that was "high
speed" at that time then switched to copper DSL when speeds increased and then
when my ISP opened up fibre I switched in a heartbeat :)
