I'm on Mac more than Windows, I  also use SyncTerm quite often but slowly switching to IcyTerm as I don't find the latest version of SyncTerm stable (I'm still on 1.1 if I use it), and IcyTerm just fucking rocks! 

I think it should be available for Windows too, if so, try it. Download available on github:
