As I recall, apam had an "ASCII-only" BBS, and
there's also e.g. tty.freeshell.org, plus any
number of other BBS systems, both contemporary
and historical.  I don't think that CBBS did
"ANSI", for example, though that system changed
substantially over its lifetime and I may well
be wrong about that.
