If you can't see the library, you can't see the underlying file areas. I
typically set the library requirements to be LEVEL 50 and leave the
directories alone - that way you need to be logged in as an
authenticated user to get to the files.

I don't have any real security levels, but if I had intermediate levels,
I could use the file directory levels to create an "elite" tier.

I don't see a way to clone options for file areas. You can do so with
message areas, however. It might be worth dropping a note to Digital Man
on DOVEnet seeing if he could add that feature.
