A user must meet *both* requirements when set to something non-blank (default allow). See http://wiki.synchro.net/access:requirements for details. So if you want all the directories of a library to have the same requirements, you don't need to set *any* of the directory-specific requirements.

You can set all the directories of a library with a single operations using the Directory Defaults->Clone Settings option. But you don't need to do this for any of the "requirements" settings since you already have the library-level control with the library's "requirements" settings.

This library-level requirements control (except for "acccess requirements") is new in v3.20, which is still in development, BTW,
