I realize The root/admin/etc one is likely a bot. I have not noticed them as much lately, but I used to get a bunch of them. I am pretty sure they are scanning for IoT devices (TVs, game consoles, etc.) and maybe routers where people set them up but never change the passwords. If they find one, they can get into the device to install their payload. IIRC, I have seen a few that scan for the raspberry pi default user, too. ....
