The situation looks like someone pissed their pants and is now trying to explain that "it was a very clever decision" :)
Russian border was left unprotected and someone stole the billions meant for border defense.

Just check our own border with NATO countries - it's empty :) Everyone was sent to Ukraine. I saw it myself, BTW, in Pskov region.
