     The Second Issue Appears

     So the second issue of the FidoGazette has arrived with more news
     you can use.  We have two articles about the upcoming FTSC
     nominations and election from Andrew Leary (1:1/19), the FTSC
     administrator amongst other things.  I also dug up a few bad jokes
     that may or may not be funny depending on your sense of humor.

     The Fidonet Software List has been updated in this issue.

     The process of creating the FidoGazette has become much easier for
     me now that I've figured it out.  I am using the MAKENEWS newsletter
     software from SEA, circa 1989, under DOSbox and FreeBSD 13-STABLE
     and so far, so good (excepting the occasional 'operator error').

     Thank you to all of the contributors to this week's issue of the
     FidoGazette!  I am welcoming any articles that might be of interest
     to Fidonet!  This includes reviews.  From the FG submission docs:

     "Read a book, watched a TV show, viewed a website, use or used a
     program, or something else that would be of interest to other Fidonet
     sysops?  Submit your honest reviews here and let the rest of us know
     what you thought."  You can submit your review using the file
     extension .REV for publication.

     I also love to discuss food!  If you have a good recipe or anything
     food-related, submit your article using the file extension of .FFT
     to be published in the 'Gazette.

     I hope you will enjoy this week's issue of the FidoGazette.  As
     always, your constructive comments and questions are welcomed.
