Subj : Win32 compatable Mail tosser To : Denis N. Voituk From : Dan Egli Date : Tue Mar 25 2003 10:31 am Hello Denis. 25 Mar 03 17:05, you wrote to me: DE>> HPT (Huskey Power Tools) DV> Highly Portable Tosser :) Ok, ok, Whatever :> Thats part of the Husky project :> And as I stated, Husky won't write a messages.ra for me. If it won't make setup of the messages.ra file simple, I don't want to use it. I know it's a good tosser. I've used it in the past, but it just does not have all the features I need. Again, here is my requirement list. 1-3 are requirements, 4 is optional but would be nice 1) Support Win32 Long File Names 2) Have a Maintanance tool for Packing/Purging/Deleting/Sorting/Indexing/etc. msgbases 3) Export a messages.ra file (not necessarily automaticly, but needs to be able to create one), in the format I specify. I.e. Fmail keeps putting echos at 201+. I don't WANT them at 201+. 201+ is for Usenet Newsgroups, NOT Fido echos. 4) (optional) ability to read a fido nodelist (text/v6/v7/propriatery/etc..) and use nodelist flags to make routing decisions on exported netmail. And of course must support Hudson and JAM. DV> There are win32 binaries at http://hpt-bin.boom.ru (or DV> http://hpt-bin.narod.ru ?) Thanks anyway, but HPT is a no go.
