Subj : FTN <-> QWK Networking? FWIW, I suggest you take a look at Mark May's Mythical Kingdom Software Web site http://lilacway.dyndns.org/mk/mk.php Mark offers programs for conversion between various FTN message base formats, between FTN formats and QWK, a net-level QWK door, and a QWK interface for RA, amongst other things. This list is taken from his QWK <-> FTN program's docs. AFAIK, all Mark's programs are freeware. An alternative for translating between FTN message bases and QWK is FIDOQ by Charles Sy. That's shareware. File name is FIDOQ125.ZIP, widely available on Simtel. You can find FIDOQ126.ZIP fairly readily by a Google search. A word of warning; Mark May's programs are written in Pascal, so you may encounter the "fast Pentium bug." I suspect this is true of FIDOQ too. Also, these programs are fairly old, so you'd need to check for Y2K- compliance. Hope this helps, Robert. --- GoldED 3.00.Beta2+ * Origin: The Luminous Void (2:250/333.4) .
