I still SB>>> have not used fastecho. I had already gotten gecho set up SB>>> by the time I got the key from him. I still might switch SB>>> to fastecho, it does look better than gecho. Scott.... BA>> BA>> I used FE for years when I was a point. When I took over a BA>> Fidonet node from Bob Sakowski (he retired) I switched to BA>> Watergate, which is what he was using. I've been using BA>> Watergate since about 2001 now. SB> Can Watergate be used to gate email? If so, where can I find SB> it and can it still be registered? Thanks, Scott.... Yes. Also newsgroups. I have OS/2 copies, Sean Dennis has an 8MB or thereabouts zip file that has everything you need for Watergate - Windows and DOS versions both. There are 9 patches that have to be applied - in order - to the executables, but they're included in his package The program that applies the patches will patch both versions at the same time if they're on the machine. Sean sent his package to me and I extracted what I needed and deleted the rest, sorry. Watergate was released to the public in 2001 and the public key is included in the package. No registration necessary. --- * Origin: Bob's Boneyard, Emerson, Iowa (1:300/3) .
