The litigation is more about the fact that "someone has to pay the bills".
That's why you notice there aren't any good (if any were good) free internet
services anymore, and why MOST companies don't release source code, because
they don't want to take the chance that everyone will use it and no one will
pay for it.  No one wants to pay for anything, but no one wants to loose money,
those too facts are in opposition to a working economy.
