Interactive Net Server v7.0.454.5 Lines: 20 -> I was just thinking.... I can modify just about anything on my BBS from -> my laptop on the network, just by firing up wcconfig... I agree, it'd -> be great if there was a version of platinum express that you could -> control from remote as well, but I realise that's pretty much a lost -> cause there. However, another feature that is severely missing is an -> HTML Text Editor (that allows you to edit php, perl, text, etc. all on -> any file in the winserver directory or any directory under the winserver -> directory.... There is no reason why I have to either go to the local -> computer, or VNC the computer just for the web files. Everything else -> is easily modifiable from wcconfig! You can do this by sharing your Wildcat! home directory across your network. That is what I do. I have Wildcat! installed on a server withi my C:\WC6 drive shared out and on my desktop with Expression Web 4, I have that mapped to a drive. Then I just use that as a normal drive and save and open files normally from within the editor. No fuss, no muss. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.1 * Origin: Prison Board BBS Mesquite Tx //telnet.RDFIG.NET www. (1:124/5013) .
