Well, actualy, if I look at my log file, there are many connections always coming from the same IP at the same time. This is normal, this is a feature in some download manager programs that connect many time to the same source in order to get a file presumably more quickly. I recall when I was using a FTP server software called Serv-u some years back that there was an option for each user or each group of users to disallow more than X conections from the same IP at the same time. There was also a nice option to limit FTP bandwith to X KB/S for a user or a group of users. If there is a way in future versions of Wins to have these kind of features in the FTP server configuration, this would be very nice. -------------------- Arnaud de Bonald - Paris, France - Sysop Netcava BBS http://www.netcava.net --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.1 * Origin: Prison Board BBS Mesquite Tx //telnet.RDFIG.NET www.
