FTS-0001 calls produce an outgoing packet header that it sends to the other machine that is filled up like normal packets with originating/destination zone/net/node info and password, date/time info, etc.. Both machines exchanges that instead of the EMSI handshake information. Of course FTS-0001 is rarely used... but it is broken in older non-y2k binks. Also for example... the BTXE 2.60 XR6??? early-ish version I'm running right now also has the date proudly displayed as "102/12/14"... I couldn't get later versons running correctly so I live with it, also later verions had pull down this, zoom that, buffer this other stuff that was useless code bloat for an unattended mailer that you touch a key on once a week. *Paul* --- timEd/386 1.10.y2k+ * Origin: Dumb Guy's!!!
