I don't have any information for you, but I'd love it if you kept us all 
abreast of what you find out. With the stories coming out of Egypt that 
Fidonet technology was being used to keep people informed when the internet 
went dark, any information regarding getting Fidonet to work independent of 
internet and POTS could be important - and might make for a fun project at 
the very least!
