Since asked question in BINKD echo (as opposed to netmail), I felt free to answer it. And my aim was to explain why you didn't get it right.

So, again, binkd will not change the way it encodes filenames, so the only way the issue can be fixed is to upgrade Mystic software at receiver's end.
