i guess just renaming the pkt to readdress it to the boss isn't enough... it 
needed to be unpacked and repacked but i don't have tools here to do that 
with...

i'd just sneakernet that pkt over to your point address... pigeon delivery 
isn't unheard of in fidonet ;)
