yes, for some reason the year change does... not sure why and probably won't 
dig in to try to figure it out... you can actually leave the entire year's data 
in the log but it will be a huge log and the processing will take longer and 
longer as the log gets bigger... but the year roll over problem will remain... 
kinda sucks that there's no year in the log format as that would be very 
helpful but *nix logging formats don't have the year either... oh well... glad 
you got it sussed...
