Section one of the binkd FAQ:

       Command examples for CVS server.

       Login to the cvs server:                                                 
                                                                               
#
       cvs -d :pserver:binkd@cvs.happy.kiev.ua:/cvs login                       
                                                                               
#
       Retrieve the latest sources of the current branch (v.1.1 at the moment): 
                                                                               
#
       cvs -d :pserver:binkd@cvs.happy.kiev.ua:/cvs co binkd                    
                                                                               
#

Those two lines should be all you need. Make sure you're in the root directory 
where you want the binkd directory to reside, and also make sure you have CVS 
installed.
