I don't know about amibinkd, but just downloaded the package
amibk902.zip which contains the following script to make a poll:

 Stack 50000
 cd Work:AmiBinkd/
 run Work:AmiBinkd/AmiBinkd -p -PYOUR NODE Work:AmiBinkd/AmiBinkd.cfg
 alias endshell endcli
 alias exit     endcli
