i'm seeing a problem in a81 on linux... i've seen it for a while but haven't 
reported it... i built and installed a81 on 2016 Jan 23... guess i need to 
update my repo and build again to see i the problem is fixed...

i have a91 in operation now... using michiel's trick to include a zero byte 
file, it looks like this is actually fixed in at least a91... at least it isn't 
dropping to the command line like it used to do...
