  I have been so busy with being caregiver for my elderly Mom during the
day (a visiting nurse does actual physical care), then with ham radio
traffic nets at night, that some days, the only things I do with the BBS
is update the ham radio and weather data, and read messages...if I'm
lucky. Everything else has to wait.

  I do all of her driving, shopping, banking, phone calls, scheduling,
appointment keeping, computer work, etc. She doesn't go out for doctors
appointments, grocery shopping, etc. UNLESS I am doing the driving,
helping her in and out of the car, and to a place to sit, while I do the
rest.

  When I shop while she's at home, I don't have to worry about her
snagging the candy or donuts...although I wasn't paying attention this
last time, and darn it, she snagged the donuts that were "calling her
name". <G>
