  When I told Santa "Define Naughty", he crossed me off his list. So, I
sent a follow-up letter, saying I had been good after all...and I got 
word from the North Pole Medical Center, that he was admitted with atrial 
flutter. He apparently made his run the other night, though...although I
heard a rumor that the reindeer team ate baked beans for extra poo-pulsion
on the journey. <BG>

  However, with "no gifts" here, I didn't have to worry about thugs
scrounging through the trash looking for hints of possible presents, and
a temptation to burglarize or rob me.

  I heard some ham radio operators were getting their long awaited Icom
ID-52 D-Star HT's...but with a price of at least $700 a pop, that was
too rich for my blood. That $700 would do better for me on medical stuff
right now.
