Subj : Fishkeeping for my sanity

Since my TBI I don't drive much and have been confined to my house... I don't
get out much anymore.  My fish tank dwindled town to two fish, a black skirt
tetra and some ugly little fish I have no clue what it is but it looks like a
striped snake and it likes to hide in the gravel.

Today I went to the store and they had a buy 10 for $10 and get the 11th free.
 I got 10 serpae tetras very nice red fish and they look good and healthy.
Also got some cory and a nice plecostomas.  Spent all of $20 and it has sure
lifted my spirits.

Jade, my Green Eyed-black kitty has had endless entertainment tonight.

I lost most of my fish last winter when we had a bad storm and the power went
out for 9 days.  Thankfully I had a kerosene heater... but I sat on my couch
with the kitties and watched the poor fish die one at a time.  My beautiful
angelfish were the first to go and I'll never be able to afford new ones.
