Today I conducted my regular weekly tank maintenance. This included the
following:

1. 16-gallon water change -- about 50%
2. algae removal from three glass panes
3. algae removal at sand level using toothbrush
4. stirred up the sand substrate along glass panes
5. rinsed out sponge filters in Penguin Bio-Wheel filters

Mama Mbuna is on day #2 of incubating spawn #8 and all appears well.
