you can probably use anything for a top... plexi would be a good place to 
start... then you can notch it and even hinge it for a frontal area lift up 
door... plexi is the closest thing to a formed plastic cover you'll get without 
a mold or finding one that fits that tank's dimensions...

glass would be too heavy, IMO...
