Subj : Gravel filtering To : All From : Sean Dennis Date : Mon Feb 06 2006 06:33 pm Hi, everyone. After being sick and then busy for over a month, I finally changed out some of my aquarium's water (about four cups' worth). I added the stress reliever/dechlorinator and algae preventer and then I noticed all the junk in the water. I bought a simple gravel tube a while ago (stick it in and it sucks the stuff up by gravity) and I was wondering what was the best way to use it. I'm gathering that I put the tube in the aquarium, move it until suction occurs and because the pail is lower than the aquarium, all the junk filters out. I've never done it before, so if anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate it. :) Later, Sean P.S. The fish are doing quite well despite their treatment. :) My wife and I are considering purchasing a 10-gallon aquarium to help them have a happier and more comfortable living space as they've grown a little bit and seems a little more crowded in there than before. // sean@outpostbbs.net | http://outpostbbs.net | ICQ: 19965647 --- Telegard/2 v3.09.g2-sp4/mL * Origin: Outpost BBS - 423.926.0556 - bbs.outpostbbs.net (1:18/200) .
