I haven't seen StarGunner in ages... I have over the years purchased many an Apogee game but like everybody else stop playing them... well... I have recently gone into my second childhood I guess and have been starting to rediscover the old games I used to play and been having alot of fun doing it. Running WinXP on my three machines here, so, needless to say even when re-installing from CD or floppy of the old Apogee games I do have, the sound emulation problem stopped me from messing with them, UNTIL, the discovery of VDMsound. It seems to have fixed every one I ever owned. DOSbox was another idea, but found that it just sux the moosey, IMO. Anyway... it's been a long time since I've seen any activity in this echo, so, what apogee or 3Drealms games do you (or anybody here) still like to horse with. Next... is there a way to do Duke3D over a modern internet connection under XP? I'd love to hook into that with somebody... heh... still have my original CD for that, and I do play the game fairly often. If for nothing else than nostalgic reasons, lets get a little bit of "memories" going on in here. Face it... Apogee was on the cutting edge of gaming at one time, and even though you hate to admit it in comparison to todays games, if you are even LOOKING at this echo, you're still playing their games from time to time and love every second of it :) Phil --- FMail/Win32 1.60 * Origin: (1:267/169) .
