I used to work for a company that wanted to move everything to the "Cloud".
From their point of view, it was much more cost effective.  They didn't
have the infrastructure to maintain and only paid for what they used.  A big
chunk of their capital costs went away.

But they neglected to deal with the Elephant in the Room: You are now dependant
on an outside company for your business and it will be very costly to bring
everything back in house.
